MSA Security Creates an Intelligence Analysis Team
NEW YORK, NY, October 15, 2010 – MSA Security, a specialized security company that serves as an industry leader in high consequence threat protection, announced today it has created an intelligence analysis team to support its domestic and international operations and client needs. The team, headquartered in New York City but supported by analysts and experts based in the Middle East, offers analysis on evolving regional, national, and international threats and a detailed understanding of the current threat environment stemming from terrorists, criminals, and other threat vectors.
“We are very excited to have this new team in place,” said Vice President, Consulting Services Patrick Devlin. “Not only does it suit our client needs, but it will also help us internally to evaluate the evolving threat environment and apply this analysis to our every day operations.”
The team is comprised of retired military and law enforcement officials as well as civilian analysts from the public and private sector with years of experience collecting and analyzing intelligence. The team meets once a week to discuss emerging tactics and trends, primarily in the counterterrorism field but also to analyze criminal events and statistics, life safety issues, and civil disobedience issues. The team is trained to process and analyze all types of hazardous concerns and quickly disseminate the information. Additionally, the analysts will follow up on information requests and pertinent threat information for MSA clients.
