MSA Security Upgrades Emergency Operations Center

NEW YORK, NY, June 17, 2010 – MSA Security, a specialized security company that since 1987 has served as an industry leader in high consequence threat protection, has completed a full upgrade and renovation of its state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center (EOC), headquartered in New York.  The new EOC utilizes cutting edge technology and equipment to enhance daily explosive and chemical screening for clients worldwide.  It is staffed 24/7 to handle emergency communications and act as the central command and control and information source for all business operations.

“The new EOC will allow for future growth and expansion of MSA Security’s services, as well as enhance the critical communications capability of the company,” says Director, EOC Kenneth McGuire.

The EOC has increased its staff of experienced subject matter experts who provide real-time support for MSA Security’s explosives (SmartTech), chemical (SmartChem), and close circuit television remote monitoring technology platforms.   The EOC collects and distributes emerging threat information as well as responds to sudden threatening or crisis situations.
