MSA Security Opens New Research & Development Security Technology Center
NEW YORK, NY, August 15, 2010 – MSA Security is pleased to announce the launch of the new Research and Development Security Technology Center. The Security Technology Center at MSA headquarters has been developed to highlight the synergy between commercial off the shelf (COTS) technologies and the experience of highly trained security professionals. The center serves as the technology backbone for the research and development arm of MSA and ASI.
Our security specialists and systems integrators identify promising technologies, review their capabilities and if they pass our initial review, we install them in our office space to ensure they meet our high standards of efficiency and effectiveness. Technologies tested to date include new video synopsis and forensics, handheld video distribution and enhanced access controls systems to name but a few.
Jointly quarterbacked by Director of Critical Infrastructure, Matt Dimmick, and Access Systems Integration President, Jim Hennessy, the MSA Security Technology Center is set to become an industry leader in research, development and innovation for new security solutions to industry problems.
