Police have confirmed that explosions earlier today in Oslo, Norway were caused by the detonation of ‘one or more bombs.’ There are now 7 reported deaths and at least 15 others injured. It is still unclear at this time who is responsible for the explosions.
It has also been reported that a man, who was allegedly disguised as a police officer, open fired at a political youth camp on Utoya Island, about 45 minutes from Oslo, shortly after the bombings. Officials believe that the two incidents are most likely connected. There are unconfirmed reports indicating that there are nearly 30 deaths from the scene of the shooting; a potential suspect has been taken into custody.
