MSA Security is joining Hub International's Security and Business Continuity Best Practices Seminar in Chicago on March 13, 2012. This seminar will focus on preparing Chicago businesses for the upcoming NATO Summit.

MSA's Vice President, Consulting Services, Patrick Devlin will be presenting the Security Best Practices Segment, a collaborative discussion around best practices involved with protecting people, facilities, and information while observing and protecting the rights of free speech.

Prior to joining MSA, Mr. Devlin worked for URS Corporation as the program manager and technical lead of the Threat Assessment and Security Planning Team. His extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with counterterrorism programs and initiatives, emergency management, and physical security served to buttress his work with federal and state governments, most notably the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the Homeland Security Advisors of New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Nevada. He is a committed and accomplished leader who excels at evaluating, coordinating, leading, and resolving security and safety issues. He possesses a strong understanding of emergency readiness, business continuity and disaster recovery. Prior to joining URS Corporation, Mr. Devlin served with the New York City Police Department as a Lieutenant Commander in the Counterterrorism Division’s Threat Reduction and Infrastructure Protection Section, retiring after 20 years. Mr. Devlin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the State University of New York and Masters of Public Administration from Marist College. Mr. Devlin is Board Certified in Security Management and has been awarded as a Certified Protection Professional by the American Society of Industrial Security.
