Two people were killed and at least 19 were wounded on Monday, when a suicide bomber rammed into a U.S. Consular vehicle in Peshawar, Pakistan. U.S. officials are reporting that no one from the U.S. Consulate was killed but that two Pakistani and two American staff members were injured. The vehicle was attacked after leaving the U.S. consulate, in an area occupied by a number of international organizations. Taliban and al-Qaeda militants are known to operate in the Peshawar area however no group has claimed responsibility for the attack at this time.
