John Quinn, MSA's Director, Specialized Training Opens in a new window and Active Shooter threat Opens in a new window expert was interviewed by NY1 regarding Friday's shooting at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) that killed a Transportation Security Agency (TSA) official and injured seven others.

Quinn, who spoke about the possibility of increased security at local airports in the upcoming days said, "I can see how security will be increased even on a temporary basis until all information is gathered to make sure it was not part of a bigger plot, to make sure this was a lone gunman or an isolated incident.”
