A mixed occupancy building at 125 Second Avenue has collapsed and is engulfed in flames. It is reportedly a mass casualty incident. It is unclear whether the gas explosion or collapse was the initial cause of the accident. Streets and public transportation in the area have been shut down. Emergency workers are on the scene, which is now being classified as a five alarm fire.
