With the upcoming Super Bowl in the Greater New York City Area, Fox Business News sat down with Brian Finch, the Global Security Attorney and Advisor to the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security, to discuss the increase in security measures that have been implemented at stadiums and other large sporting venues since 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombing.

Among these security measures are the NFL Stadium Bag Policy which limits the type, size, and material of the bags fans can bring into the stadiums.

Additionally, cameras, metal detectors, and Explosive Detection Canine (EDC) teams are among the measures being implemented at many venues.

EDC teams demonstrate a robust security posture to event attendees, and are a highly visible deterrent as well as a mobile asset that can respond quickly to unattended items, bomb threats, and any required security sweeps.
