Our Explosive Detection Canines are the backbone of MSA Security, and one of the biggest reasons for our success.

One of our legendary canines, K9 Soleil, recently departed to doggy heaven. She was heavily trained by our canine imprinter, Michael Belanger, to be one of a kind, and played a major part in what MSA is today.

A few of her accomplishments include:

• Assisting with obtaining one of the company’s largest commercial contracts with a customer in the logistics space.
• Strengthening training and performance improvement for our overseas handlers, which in turn helped MSA secure our largest federal government contract.
• Participating in countless demonstrations at our training facility to showcase our services for potential clients, even landing her a cameo on the CBS evening news!

Soleil was not only great in her role, but a five-star partner and solid friend. As our colleagues can attest - if MSA had a K9 Hall of Fame, Soleil would hold a top spot. 🏆

We are eternally grateful for Soleil’s service, and she will not be forgotten.
