Demonstrations relating to the Israel-Palestine conflict continued in North America and Europe over the past 24 hours. In Boston, MA protesters disrupted Mayor Michelle Wu’s State of the City Address at the MGM Music Hall-Fenway by standing in front of the stage and dropping banners from the upper levels. Local officials arrested several of the protesters. In Washington, DC six people were arrested inside the Longworth House Office Building while protesting for a cease-fire in the Israel-Gaza conflict. Additional demonstrations will likely continue at high-visibility locations, such as government buildings, residences of political figures, public events, and major thoroughfares. These demonstrations will likely result in arrests or clashes between law enforcement and counter-demonstrators. Protests will likely disrupt vehicular transportation near high-traffic buildings and have the potential to disrupt business operations and supply chains.
