Demonstrations relating to Israel and Palestine continued in North America and select other locations over the past 24 hours. In Victoria, British Columbia, the Belfry Theatre announced the cancelation of a play scheduled to premiere in March due to demonstrations and vandalization of the building. In Cape Town, South Africa, demonstrators gathered outside of the Newlands Cricket Stadium ahead of a game, although no clashes or arrests were reported. Demonstrators in London, England and Washington, D.C. are planning large demonstrations for Saturday, January 13th. Organizers of the National March for Palestine and the March on Washington for Gaza are arranging transportation for demonstrators living outside of London and Washington, providing the potential for large events. Additional demonstrations will likely continue at high-visibility locations, such as government buildings, residences of political figures, public events, and major thoroughfares. These demonstrations will likely result in arrests or clashes between law enforcement and counter-demonstrators. Protests will likely disrupt vehicular transportation near high-traffic buildings and have the potential to disrupt business operations and supply chains.

MSA Intel will continue to monitor the situation and provide relevant updates.
